Requirements
Requirements
- Open to both new and existing Malaysian students
- Application valid for Master, Bachelor’s Degree and Diploma programme offered by Southern UC.
- Applicant must have at least one year of study (three semesters) in Southern UC.
- Fulfil basic qualification set by the Southern Foundation Selection and Award Committee.
- Low-income household in need of financial assistance.

- The recipients shall maintain a GPA of 2.00 every semester.
- A total of 140 hours of service is required
- The financial aid will be suspended if the student:
- has changed courses, transferred to another university, dropped out, or is ordered to drop out of the Southern UC.
- has submitted falsified or fake documents.
- has been found guilty of violating the law and sentenced by the court.
- has a serious violation of the University rules.
- fails to comply with contractual requirements or breaches the contract.
- Each student can only receive the grant under this scheme for a maximum of two times.
- This financial aid is not applicable to individuals already receiving scholarships from KUS or other organizations (PTPTN excluded). However, PTPTN recipients are still eligible to apply.

Awards Details
- The amount will be distributed over 3 semesters once approved by the Southern Foundation Selection and Award Committee. Deductions will begin when the student progresses to the second semester.
- Total amount awarded would be determined by applicant’s family background (Max RM 10,000 per student and will be allocated in 3 semesters)
