How to qualify

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Degree Programme:
    • STPM: CGPA 3.20
    • A-Level: 2A
    • UEC: 15 points (Best 5 subjects)
    • Foundation/Diploma: CGPA 3.20
  • Diploma: Minimum 8As in SPM
  • Foundation:
    • SPM: 8As
    • UEC: 15 points (Best 5 Subjects)
Things you should be aware of

Highlights

  • Students who receive a Foundation Programme Scholarship in any amount are required to continue their studies at the University for a Bachelor's degree; otherwise, they must refund the full amount of the scholarship granted.
  • CGPA must be maintained according to the quantum of the award received:
  • 100% Scholarship:
    • Obtain GPA 3.50 and above; when GPA below 3.50, the scholarship will be terminated after two chances were given, but the committee has the final decision.
  • 75% Scholarship:
    • Obtain GPA 3.30 and above; when GPA below 3.30, the scholarship will be terminated after two chances were given, but the committee has the final decision.
  • 50% Scholarship:
    • Obtain GPA 3.00 and above; when GPA below 3.00, the scholarship will be terminated after two chances were given, but the committee has the final decision.
