Awards Details

  • Fee waiver details are as follows:
    • Master Coursework: RM 3,000 over 3 semester
    • Master Research: RM 1,000 over 2 semester
    • Doctorate Coursework: RM 8,000 over 5 semester
    • Doctorate Research: RM 3,000 (RM 600 on semester 1 and RM 300 for semester 2 until 8)
  • Deductions from 1st semester onwards)

Established in 1990, it was the first non-profit institute of higher education in Malaysia, which provided affordable learning for high school leavers.

Formerly known as Southern College, the Southern University College upgraded its status in 2012.
