IMU Rising Star Scholarship recognizes and supports high-achieving SPM and IGCSE students who enroll in the Foundation programme at IMU

How to qualify

Requirements

  • Open to both Malaysian & Internation students completing:
    • O-Level / IGCSE: Final examination in Nov 2025 or Jun 2026
    • SPM 2025: Final examination in Dec 2025
  • Minimum 3As in trial results (Including A+, A, A-)
  • Extra curriculum achievements may boost your application
Things you should be aware of

Highlights

  • In the event that a student’s actual results exceed their trial results, the scholarship quantum will be adjusted
  • The final scholarship awarded will be calculated based on whichever is higher, provided the applicant obtained at least three (3) As.
  • Recipients are not permitted to hold more than one scholarship at any time.
  • Students who are eligible for enrolment into the FIA programme but do not achieve the minimum three (3) As requirement for the Rising Star Scholarship will still be awarded with the minimum RM10,000 scholarship.
