Tuition fee waiver for outstanding international students
This scholarship is awarded to high-achieving international students enrolling in undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programmes at Western Sydney University.

Applicant must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Be an international student and not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia. If your visa status changes to one of these during the study period, the scholarship will discontinue
- Commence a new program of study in 2026 for the first time
- Be applying to study in a CRICOS registered undergraduate or postgraduate degree program
- Satisfy the academic eligibility requirements for $10,000 multi-year scholarship
- Satisfy all other admission requirements and accept their Offer of Admission letter.
- Applicants are not eligible if they are granted more than 160 credit points in advanced standing for undergraduate degree program. (Note: In the event of advanced standing, the scholarship will apply to the reduced duration of the program and will not exceed the annual value of the scholarship in any one year of full-time study)
- Applicants are not eligible if they are applying to study a program located at Sydney City campus.
- Applicants are not eligible if the study less than 80 credit points to complete the program.*
- This is available to all CRICOS registered undergraduate degrees, except for the following Ineligible Programs:
- Bachelor of Clinical Science (Medicine)/Doctor of Medicine (MD)Program; or
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Any Programs or Subjects delivered at the WSUSCC Campus and offshore campus.

- Scholarship Recipients must clear all outstanding fee debts before any Scholarship payments will be made.
- Scholarship Recipients are expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress with a cumulative GPA 4 or greater over the academic year for the duration of their Program and Scholarship.
- Scholarship recipients are expected to enrol in at least 30 credit points per study period to keep the scholarship.
- Scholarship Recipients are required to obtain prior approval before changing programs to ensure continued eligibility and alignment with scholarship conditions.
- Scholarship Recipients may be invited to:
- participate in University events for Students (e.g. Orientation, Open Day);
- assist in providing information to Students about Programs and the Scholarship program;
- provide a personal profile and photograph for use in promotional material;
- participate in peer mentoring/tutoring; and
- undertake other engagements within and outside the University as required.
- Consent to the University
- photographing/videoing them and using any image of them in relation to the Scholarship;
- using any written material that they have produced about their experiences at the University and in relation to the Scholarship;
- being involved, if requested, in any Scholarship related publicity as the University thinks
- Acknowledge that all right, title and interest in or relating to any Scholarship written material that they have produced or image taken of them by or on behalf of the University belongs to the University, absolutely for its own use;
- If requested, agree to attend Scholarships ceremonies, and participate in activities to promote their scholarship, including public speaking, Open Days, media interviews and photographs. Photos/ video taken at these events may also be used for newsletters published by the University.
