Early Acceptance Scholarship is awarded to international students commencing their studies in Undergraduate/Postgraduate programme at University of Tasmania
Requirements
Requirements
- Be classified as an International Student as defined under the Application rules of the University of Tasmania.
- Be a citizen of Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Vietnam OR be residing onshore in Australia at the time of applying for their student visa.
- Not be a student from a Transnational Education (TNE) partner affiliated with the University of Tasmania.
- Not be in receipt of any other University of Tasmania scholarship or any external sponsorship.
- Not be commencing at the University of Tasmania through an articulation agreement with a partner institution.
- Be commencing the first year of their program

- Applicants must accept the offer, meet all conditions and pay the deposit by the Early Acceptance deadline date specified.
- Student must be enrolled fulltime, (a minimum 37.5 credit points for each study period is considered full time
- Scholarship recipients who have an approved Leave of Absence during their study will have their scholarships suspended until they return at the end of their approved break (up to a maximum of 12 months); and
- The scholarship recipient must not be in receipt of any other University of Tasmania scholarship or any external sponsorship.
- Any photographs and/or videos, taken by the University, of 2026 Early Acceptance Scholarship recipients may be used in publicity material to promote the University and its scholarship program. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the scholarship recipient agrees to the use of photos and videos, and agrees that the University may reproduce, and/or publish their image, their name and story in relation to the scholarship without compensation.
- International students on a Student Visa (subclass 500) must continue to satisfy the criteria for the grant of a visa and must maintain satisfactory attendance in their course and course progress for each study period as required by the University of Tasmania.
