How to qualify

Requirements

  • Must be an international student.
  • Must hold a passport from one of the eligible countries (listed in Africa, Europe, Latin America, North Asia, Pacific, South Asia, Southeast Asia).
  • Must have applied to study full-time at UQ in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program of at least 16 units
  • Must have received an unconditional offer (or satisfied all conditions of a conditional offer).
  • Must meet program entry rank and English language requirements.
  • Must have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University.
  • Must not have received another scholarship or tuition reduction from UQ or a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation.
Things you should be aware of

Highlights

  • If a recipient changes their program from that on their Scholarship offer, they may no longer be eligible.
  • Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress for the duration of their program.
  • Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment in a relevant program.
