The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide assistance for high achieving international students who are commencing a relevant degree program at The University of Queensland

How to qualify

Requirements

Eligible applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • International student
  • Have received an unconditional offer to study full-time at UQ
  • Have satisfied the program entry rank and English language proficiency requirements
  • Have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester
  • Available to students enrolling full-time in undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs of at least 16 units
  • Have not received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ
  • Have not received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships/sponsorships may be considered)
Things you should be aware of

Highlights

  • If a recipient changes their program from that on their Scholarship offer, they may no longer be eligible.
  • Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic progress for the duration of their program.
  • Recipients must maintain full-time enrolment in a relevant program.
