Deakin STEM Scholarship

• Citizenship: International students from Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, or Vietnam

• Academic performance: Meet the entry requirements for their course, including English language requirements

• Must be a new student commencing their course at Deakin

• Must be studying a Deakin undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (including honours) from the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment (SEBE)

• Must not be commencing a course on the FutureLearn platform

• Information systems courses and business analytics courses are not eligible for this scholarship

• Double degrees are not eligible, except D364 – Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours)

• Undergraduate – ATAR course entry requirement: Lowest selection rank of an applicant to which an offer was made in the selection year

• Undergraduate – ATAR STEM Scholarship eligibility: 5 points above the lowest selection rank of an applicant to which an offer was made in the selection year

• Undergraduate – Malaysia STPM course entry requirement: 2.7 GPA

• Undergraduate – Malaysia STPM STEM Scholarship eligibility: 3.0 GPA

• Postgraduate course entry requirement: Successful completion of an undergraduate degree

• Postgraduate STEM Scholarship eligibility: Completed undergraduate degree with equivalent of 65% weighted average mark (WAM)

• To be eligible, applicants must have completed at least a three-year bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification from an approved institution
