Full scholarship for the full course of studies
The YTM Future Leaders Scholarship is designed for high‑achieving Malaysian students seeking to pursue undergraduate studies at approved local universities. The scholarship covers full tuition fees and may include living allowances, resources, and other education-related support, enabling recipients to focus on their studies.
It targets fields relevant to technology, digital industries, engineering, IT, computer science, creative multimedia, and similar disciplines — aligning with Telekom Malaysia’s focus on digital development and national growth. Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong academic results, active involvement in co‑curricular or leadership activities, and meet eligibility criteria including household income threshold and other requirements.
YTM aims not only to fund education, but also to support holistic development: scholarship recipients often receive mentoring, career exposure, and opportunities to develop skills that prepare them for future roles in digital industries.
Scholarship Requirements
- Malaysian citizens in good health.
- Household income not exceeding RM20,000 per month.
- Enrolment through the UPU channel at selected universities and for undergraduate level only.
- Applicants who are in their 1st or 2nd year of study must have at least 2 academic years remaining in their study programme.
- Not exceed 23 years old in the current year.
- Active in co-curricular activities.
Award Details
Tuition Fees and monthly living allowance including practical allowances.
