Full scholarship for high-achieving Malaysians at local universities
The Khazanah Watan Scholarship is a prestigious award that offers opportunities for talented and high-achieving Malaysians to pursue Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies at selected leading local universities. It aims to train Malaysia's brightest talents to transform Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) into competitive businesses and to encourage excellent academic research that advances university reputations.
Scholarship Requirements

Master's Degree:
- Obtained admission at Yayasan Khazanah’s approved universities in Malaysia (conditional offer can be considered). Those who have applied to the universities but have yet to receive admission are also eligible to apply. In the event that no offer of admission from the university is received during our selection process, please be aware that the scholarship offer will become null and void.
- Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (UK and Australia University) or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50 for Bachelor's Degree
- Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Master's degree
- The applicant must have at least two years of working experience

PhD:
- Obtained admission to pursue studies or currently in the first year of a Doctoral Degree programme at Yayasan Khazanah’s approved universities in Malaysia (Conditional offer can be considered). Those who have applied to the universities but have yet to receive admission are also eligible to apply. In the event that no offer of admission from the university is received during our selection process, please be aware that the scholarship offer will become null and void.
- Obtained a Master Degree with a distinction or a minimum CGPA 3.50 / 4.00 or 'A' grade average and/or excellent examiners' report if the Master Degree is by research.
- Obtained a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (UK and Australia University) or where there is a point system, obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.50 for Bachelor's Degree.
- Not exceeding 40 years of age as at the enrolment date for the Doctorate programme.
- The applicant must have at least two years of working experience.

- Shortlisted candidates are required to attend the following stage of selection process:
- Stage 1: Verbal and Numerical Ability Test
- Stage 2: Personality and Moral Reasoning Test
- Stage 3: Assessment Camp / E-Tray Assessment and Competency-based Interview
- Stage 4: Interview with Yayasan Khazanah Management
- Stage 5: Interview with Yayasan Khazanah Trustees
