The Maxis Scholarship Programme is a prestigious award that offers opportunities for bright and high-achieving Malaysians to pursue their studies at local university.
The scholarship is offered at two entry levels:
- Undergraduate studies for first and second-year students.
- Postgraduate studies for first and second-year students.
Scholarship Requirements
- Be a Malaysian citizen aged between 18 to 23 years old
- Have obtained admission into a recognised higher education institution
- Currently enrolled in or undertaking first or second year of undergraduate studies or postgraduate studies in the relevant area of study.
- Possess latest pre-university results with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or equivalent
- Demonstrated leadership through active participation in co-curricular activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Not presently holding any financial assistance from other organisations or institutions
- Applicants with recognised pre-university qualifications, including STPM, A-Levels, and UEC, are eligible to apply.
- This scholarship is offered exclusively to students studying at local universities in Malaysia that are recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
- The scholarship is available for selected undergraduate programmes, including Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, and Technology.
- If chosen, recipients of the scholarship will be required to fulfill a service bond.
- Shortlisted applicants are required to attend interview.

- Applicants will have to answer a few questions in a pre-recorded video interview.
- Selected candidates will be invited to take assessments that evaluate their problem-solving, creative thinking and leadership abilities.
- Shortlisted candidates will have to attend final interview.
- Successful candidates will be notified and invited to the Scholarship Award Ceremony.
