Criteria

  • Malaysian citizens aged below 25 years
  • High academic achievement(s)
  • Meet minimum academic requirements as listed in tables below
    • STPM - 1 A / CGPA 3.50
    • A-Levels - 2 As
    • UEC - 4 As / 15 points (5 subjects)
    • Foundation / Diploma / Matriculation  - CGPA 3.50
    • SACE/WACE - ATAR 85
    • IB Diploma - 34 points

Highlights

  • This is NOT applicable to Health Science programmes – MBBS, Dentistry & Optometry only
  • Students are not eligible to be credited with the RM 4,320 Foundation Scholarship Scheme in the Degree Program if they apply for the High Achiever Scholarship (HAS) at the Degree level.
  • Applicant is required to meet a minimum CGPA of 3.50 every year to continue the scholarship.
  • Scholarship recipient must also contribute to SEGi University’s activities, including participation in promotional activities, for up to 5 hours per week during their of study at the university.

Application

  • Recommendation by the school principal or headmaster would be advantageous
  • Photocopy of IC (both sides)
  • Certified true copies of academic certificate(s) and transcripts
  • Photocopy of documents indicating sports/extra-curricular activities
  • Letter indicating the reasons for applying this scholarship
