Requirements
The minimum requirements for the scholarship are as follows:
- Malaysian Students
- Applicants must have gained admission to MIA
- For Degree Programme Scholarship:
- Foundation applicants: only from other institutions
- Diploma applicants: only from other institutions entering Year 2 of the Degree
- 100% or 70% tuition fee waivers for UEC, STPM, and A-Level students are subject to evaluation of co-curricular activities and achievements
- Applicants must meet any of the following academic requirements (see table below)

- To fulfil semester GPA requirement at the end of every semester for continuation of scholarship
- Applicants must not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial aid or awards from other education institutions or any other parties.
- The scholarship / incentive covers ONLY tuition fee deduction in subjects for the first time (first attempt), NOT for ‘repeat’ subjects.
- Academic results used for application must not be more than 2 years of intake applied

Awards Details
Tuition fee waivers are as follows:

Diploma programme:
- 40% or above: Full tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
- 20% & 30%: Tuition fee waiver for semester 1 & 2 only

Degree programme (UEC/STPM/A-Level):
- 45% or above: Full tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
- 20% & 35%: Tuition fee waiver for Year 1 only

Degree programme (AUSMAT):
- 50% or above: Full tuition fee waiver for the entire programme
- 25%: Tuition fee waiver for Year 1 only

Degree programme (Foundation):
- Up to 75% for Year 1 only

Degree programme (Diploma):
- Up to 75% for Year 2 only
- SPM: As include A+, A, A- unless otherwise specified
- UEC points: Best 3 subjects counted unless otherwise specified
- UEC : A1=1 point, A2=2 points, B3=3 points, B4=4 points, B5=5 points, B6=6 points, etc
