Criteria

  • Candidates must demonstrate consistent track record of leadership roles in extracurricular activities at school or
    community level. This might include positions in student clubs, volunteer organisations, or other leadership experiences.
  • Candidates should possess good communication skills, self-confidence and thrive on challenges
  • Applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:
    • Cambridge GCE A Level - AAA
    • Australian Matriculation - ATAR 95
    • Canadian Matriculation - 95%
    • Monash University Foundation Year - 95% (Based on the best 4 subjects)
    • Sunway Foundation in Arts/ Sunway Foundation in Science and Technology - CGPA 3.95
    • Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) - AAA
    • Unified Examination Council (UEC) - 8A1
    • International Baccalaureate - 37
    • Other Foundation/Diploma - CGPA 3.95
  • Applicable for the Bachelor of Business (Victoria University) programmes

Highlights

  1. Offer of scholarship will be made only when Sunway University receives the actual results and after an interview has been conducted.
  2. The scholarship will be subjected to a review at the end of every semester. A scholar must pass all examinations and maintain high academic standards (70% grade average), failing which the scholarship can be withdrawn.
  3. If the scholarship recipient is unable to travel at the planned time, due to extenuating and unforeseen circumstances, alternative arrangements will be put in place for the student, upon the approval of Victoria University and Sunway College.

Awards

Tuition Fee
  • Full tuition fee deduction, including undertaking a study visit to complete ‘VU Block Model’ unit, and Melbourne in the second year of the programme.
  • Costs covered for the study visits are:
    • Accommodation with a Victoria University approved accommodation provider (covered by Victoria University)*
    • Return air-fare (economy class) from Kuala Lumpur to Melbourne (covered by Sunway College)

This scholarship is awarded to outstanding students enrolling into Business degree studies (in partnership with Victoria University) at Sunway University

  • Application Deadline: 3rd March 2025 (For Feb intakes) and 8th September 2025 (For July and September intakes)
