Criteria

  • Planning to pursue the following field of studies:
    • Engineering in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical & Electronic / Environmental / Industrial / Material / Energy / Mechatronics / Robotics
    • Environmental Science / Management
    • Logistics & Supply Chain
    • Polymer Science & Technology
    • Business Studies / Marketing / Economics
    • Accountancy / Statistical Analysis
    • Information Technology (IT) / Computer Science / Computer System Engineering
    • Data Science & Analytics
  • Must be a Malaysian citizen and a full-time student at a public institution of higher learning (IPTA)/local private institution of higher learning (IPTS)
  • Outstanding academic results in SPM and STPM or equivalent, as well as undergraduate programme (if any)
  • Secured placement or currently pursuing undergraduate study programme (Year 1 or 2) at IPTA/IPTS
  • Not receiving any other scholarship, financial aid or award
  • Able to provide two credible guarantors
  • Students with parent(s) / guardian(s) from rubber industry are encouraged to apply

Highlights

  • Recipients are offered employment opportunities with rubber & rubber products industry upon graduation
  • Recipients will be bonded with any rubber product companies within rubber industry approved by MRC with max 3 years

Malaysian Rubber Council (MRC) is inviting students to apply for scholarships to pursue undergraduate studies in both local public (IPTA) or private (IPTS) institutions of higher learning.

Application

2023 Update: Application is now open from 15th September 2023 – 14th October 2023.

  • Click here to submit your application to Malaysian Rubber Council. (Uni Enrol has been appointed by MRC Scholarship to assist students who apply to IPTS to get offer letter from universities)

  • Submit your completed application with all relevant documents, including proof of university placement or offer letter.
  • Closing date for application is on 14th October 2023
