Fee Waiver of

25%

This scholarship offers a tuition fee waiver to Foundation students entering a Degree programme and Degree students moving to the next year.

Dean's Excellence Scholarship (DES) is awarded to top achieving current students, at the point of progression for each academic year, i.e. from:

  • Foundation to Year 1
  • Year 1 to Year 2
  • Year 2 to Year 3
  • Year 3 to Year 4 (applicable for Masters of Engineering and Bachelor of Education only)
How to qualify

Requirements

Students must meet any of the following minimum requirements:

  • Faculty of Science and Engineering (FOSE)

    • Foundation : Minimum average marks of 90%
    • Undergraduate : Minimum average marks of 85%

  • Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)

    • Foundation : Minimum average marks of 80%
    • Undergraduate : Minimum average marks of 75%

  • Students who have been awarded scholarships from UNM or receiving sponsorships from external sponsoring bodies will not be eligible for the reduction.
