Criteria

  • Malaysians only
  • Preference will be given to students who have proven track record in their respective field of talent at national or international level.
  • For sportsmen or sports women, the student must represent state or national, with provided verification from Sports Association, in the games/category as specified e.g.
    • State Athlete with verification letter from MSSM or SUKMA
    • National Athlete with verification letter from MSN or National Sports Association, or
    • Recommendation Letter from State / National coach

Highlights

  • Applicants would only know if they are shortlisted/successful after they have entered MMU to study and not before they study.
  • The student need to maintain minimum CGPA 2.00 throughout his/her studies.
  • The student must represent MMU and uphold the university name in his/her respective championship.
  • For sports talent, the student must represent MMU in MASISWA, SUKIPT, other IPT Games and other tournaments as and when required by the University.
  • The scholarship will be reviewed on a yearly basis based on performance and achievements of the scholars in their respective sport. Scholarships can be revoked based on the discretion of the University.

Details

Awarded to students who have a proven track record of excellence in their respective field of talent, e.g. Sports, Music, Art, Debate, Theater, and Writing.

Application

  • Eligible Student can apply President, Merit or Sports Scholarship using the same form by filling column boxes indicated in the form
  • All scholarship submission must be done before the dateline and late application will not be entertained.
  • The dateline for each application is a week after class commencement and thus shortlisted candidate will be contacted after they have entered MMU to study and not before they study.
  • All scholarship will have interview session and shortlisted student will be contacted by our Bursary Department for the interview arrangement.
  • Most of the scholarship are priorities to B40 category and all supporting documents must be submitted upon submitting the application
