Criteria

Minimum requirements:

  • A-Levels: 12 points
  • SAM/AUSMAT: ATAR 85% and above
  • UEC: 4As
  • Foundation/STPM/Diploma: CGPA 3.50

Continuing students need to maintain a CGPA of at least 3.80 to qualify for a Merit Award, subject  to the Scholarship Committee’s approval.

Highlights

  • Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
  • All scholarship applicants will be evaluated and shortlisted by the Study Award Committee of HELP University/HELP Academy
  • Students are only entitled to one scholarship at any one time. (Study Award also cover prizes, study awards, bursaries and fee waivers.)
  • Applicants may be awarded a sum that is less than that stipulated in the brochure

Study Award for new students pursuing a Bachelor Degree programmes at HELP University

Application

  • Complete a HELP Study Award Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic results 
  • International students may apply in their first year on a case-by-case basis
  • New students who have not joined HELP Academy/University are required to pay the Student Application and Administration Fee to be eligible to apply for Study Awards.
  • Students who have applied to join HELP Academy/University for a chosen programme are expected to register during the intake date and is required to pay all administration fees, course fees and external fees (if any) by the last day of payment pending the decision of the Scholarship Committee
  • New students will submit the respective forms and attachments to the Study Award Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
  • Application deadline is 2 weeks after commencement of programmes OR 2 weeks after the release of actual results.
