Criteria

Only open to Malaysian students who meet the following minimum criteria:

  • SPM: 3As and above
  • O-Levels: 3As and above

Highlights

  • Curtin Malaysia Merit Scholarship will only be awarded once the student has accepted the offer to study and enrolled at Curtin University, Malaysia.
  • If recipient is enrolling into a Foundation or Diploma programme, recipient MUST complete the Foundation or Diploma studies, followed by 1 year of Undergraduate studies at Curtin Malaysia, or else recipient must pay back full amount of the scholarship awarded. 
  • In the event the recipient withdraws from the program or transfers to Curtin Perth / other institution the recipient must pay back full amount of the scholarship awarded.
  • Student must not be bonded to or in receipt of any financial assistance from Curtin University, Malaysia (These include Staff Study Support, Staff Children Study Support, Early Bird Rebate, Sibling Discount etc.) or other educational institutions or organizations.

Merit Scholarship for high-achieving students enrolling into Curtin Malaysia's Foundation or Diploma programme(s)

Application

  • Must have offer letter to study at Curtin Malaysia
  • Offered twice a year during the semester
  • Closing date: Application forms and documents must reach Curtin Malaysia within the first week of class commencement
  • Applicants must attach copy of Actual Official Results and copy of identification card
  • Applicant receiving scholarship from other organization is not eligible to apply
