- The University of Surrey's Stag Hill campus has a rich history, originally part of the Royal Deer Park. The university, established in 1966, moved to Stag Hill in 1968, with students alternating between the original Battersea location and Guildford until 1970.

International Excellence Award (Undergraduate)

Applicant must meet the following requirements to be eligible
- Be an overseas fee-paying student.
- Choose Surrey as your firm choice on your UCAS application (the grades eligibility for applicants joining Surrey via Clearing is ABB (or equivalent)).
- Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors degree programme* at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry).
- Be self-funded (you must be paying for your studies independently rather than being sponsored or in receipt of another scholarship).
- Apply for this scholarship before a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) is issued. The award cannot be applied post CAS.
- Excludes part-time and distance-learning courses.
- This award is not open to students from Surrey International Study Centre (SISC).
- Assessment will be based on students’ previous academic performance, predicted grades, and personal statement.
