This scholarship provides tuition fee waiver for international postgraduate taught students.
The UCL Institute of Ophthalmology International Excellence Scholarships are designed to support talented international students pursuing MSc study in ophthalmology and bioscience-related fields at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology.

- Be self-funded
- Be eligible to pay international student fees
- Be provisionally admitted to one of the following full-time MSc programmes: Bioscience Innovation and Enterprise MSc; Ophthalmology MSc; Bioscience Research & Development MSc; Bioscience (Research and Development) with Practice MSc
- Meet all the conditions of the offer
- Selection is on the basis of a motivation letter and the relevance of the selected Master’s programme to a student’s future career
- Deadline: 26 June 2026
