This scholarship provides a tuition fee waiver for eligible international undergraduate students
The Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – International is awarded to high-achieving undergraduate students who select Lancaster University as their firm choice. It recognises both the excellent academic results achieved to progress to undergraduate study and the commitment shown by placing Lancaster as the firm choice institution.

- Achieve A*AA or above at A level (or equivalent qualification)
- Make Lancaster University your firm UCAS choice
- Be classified as an international fee-paying student
- The scholarship is available across all full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered fully on campus at Lancaster University Bailrigg campus.
- Pathway students progressing from the Lancaster University International Study Centre are not eligible for the Undergraduate Excellence Award – International.
- All grade conditions must be met or exceeded. Tariff point equivalences are not considered.

- Must maintain international fee-paying status for the duration of study to retain eligibility.
- f you meet the eligibility criteria for the Undergraduate Regional Scholarship you can combine it with this Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – International.
- You are not eligible to receive the Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship - International for any repeated years of study.
