Aberystwyth Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships

Fee Waiver Up to GBP 3,000

  • Students must be applying for a postgraduate taught programme to receive this scholarship.
  • These scholarships are restricted to students who are overseas fee payers and are entirely self-funded (students in receipt of a repayable loan to fund their studies are considered as self-funded)
  • Not applicable to applicants entering the second or third year as their first year of study with Aberystwyth.
  • Not applicable to students who are assessed as Home-fee payers.
  • Not applicable to students who are fully or partly sponsored.
  • Students must at least obtained Lower Second (2:2) degree
  • Students must be self-funding and not in receipt of any other Scholarships, apart from the IAA.
  • Students should meet the University’s usual entry requirements.

Fee waiver details are as follows:

  • Postgraduate students (First Honours degree): Waiver of GBP 3,000
  • Postgraduate students (Lower Second Degree): Waiver of GBP 2,000
