Founded in 1971, the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) is a New Zealand government-funded tertiary education institution headquartered in Invercargill, Southland, with additional campuses in Queenstown, Gore, and Telford. Known for its practical, career-focused education and industry-aligned programmes, SIT offers more than 200 qualifications ranging from certificates and diplomas to degrees and postgraduate study.
