Getting here : UM operates its own shuttle / e-shuttle bus services connecting major parts of campus, residential colleges, Library, hostels etc. For external access, the Universiti LRT station (Kelana Jaya Line) is one of the nearest rail stops; buses such as RapidKL routes T789 and T790 serve UM campus from nearby transit stations. From Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), one can take KLIA-Express to KL Sentral then connect via LRT/bus/taxi to UM; taxi direct takes about 1 hour.

Campus size is large and green, with many natural and built amenities. Historic institution founded in 1905 (as King Edward VII College of Medicine) / 1949 as University of Malaya etc. Excellent research profile; strong reputation locally and internationally.
