- Entitlement applies to students upon completion of studies from:
- Sunway College Johor Bahru certificate programme progressing onto a Sunway College Johor Bahru diploma programme
- Sunway College Johor Bahru diploma programme progressing onto the Victoria University Bachelor of Business
- Sunway College Johor Bahru pre-university programme progressing onto the Victoria University Bachelor of Business

- Recipients must complete the programme within the approved duration specified, in continuous semesters. Those opting to enrol for a lower semester load may risk the early expiry of their entitlement before the completion of studies.
- Recipients who defer or do not enrol for any subject in any semester will have their entitlement terminated.
- Recipients of the Tan Sri Sir Jeffrey Cheah Entrance Scholarship or Sunway College Johor Bahru Loyalty Bursary will not be eligible for further entitlement of the Continuing Bursary, unless they choose to decline the earlier offer.
- Offer of scholarship or bursary will only be made based on the official result slip or statement of results, provisional or online results are not considered official.
- Scholarship or bursary recipients must be of respectable character and should not have an criminal convictions or records and should not have been involved in any misconduct which may bring Sunway College Johor Bahru into disrepute.
