- Newcastle University Medicine Malaysia (NUMed) is the Malaysian branch campus of Newcastle University UK, established in 2009/2011 in EduCity, Iskandar Puteri, Johor. It offers the same MBBS (medicine) and BSc (Honours) Biomedical Sciences degrees as in the UK, plus a foundation programme in biological/biomedical sciences. The degrees are recognised by both the UK’s General Medical Council and the Malaysian Medical Council. Though students get the benefit of UK-standard medical training, studying locally means lower costs. NUMed also emphasizes research, clinical exposure in both local and UK settings, and community work, aiming to prepare graduates for medical careers both in Malaysia and internationally.

- Student must receive an unconditional offer letter from NUMed Malaysia and must be a registered student at NUMed Malaysia
- Students who completed High School education with 5As in SPM/IGCSE (including Biology, Chemistry, Physics & Mathematics)
- Students who achieve a CGPA of 4.00 in the Foundation in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from NUMed Malaysia
