The Han Chiang Recognition Scholarship is for children of Han Chiang staff or Teochew/Han Chiang Association members

  • Students must have parents who hold membership of Teochew Association/Han Chiang Association OR;
  • Either parent must be currently working as staff at any of the Han Chiang Institutions

  • Children of Teochew Association/Han Chiang Association Member: RM 6,000
  • Children of Han Chiang Institutions staff: RM 10,000

Han Chiang University College Of Communication (HCUC) is a non-profit institution of higher learning that offers quality education at affordable fees; it was established in 1999 and has become a renowned College in the country catering to the educational needs of local and international students

HCUC originated from the journalism programme offered by Han Chiang High School through its post-secondary education back in 1978.

The programme successfully produced a good number of journalists for the media industry.; from then onwards, the College has expanded its horizons and dived into other disciplines such as Mass Communication, Business Management, Information Technology, Chinese Studies and Multimedia -Han Chiang College received a formal invitation from the Ministry of Education Malaysia (now Ministry of Higher Education – MoHE) to be upgraded to a University College in 2014

Now, Han Chiang University College Of Communication currently offers one Foundation, nine Diploma and homegrown programmes.

Assets of the college include:

Programmes that are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA)

Programmes that are also recognized by many overseas universities, many of whom provide articulation routes for our diploma programmes

Offers R&D research grants to staff and students
