Dasein Leadership Study Grant rewards students who have held leadership positions and demonstrated strong leadership qualities

申请条件说明

条件要求

  • Students must held positions in a recognised school club / society / uniformed body.
  • Applicants must submit their School Leaving Certificate or other relevant qualifications that clearly state the clubs/societies they were involved in and their positions within those organisations.
  • Ordinary members are not eligible for the grant.
  • Only for full-time registered students enrolled in diploma programmes.
  • Students are required to pay their first semester tuition fees before the start of the semester.

重点

  • Students who fail a semester or engage in academic misconduct will be required to repeat it and bear their own full tuition fees for repeated semester.
  • Should the successful applicant deferred due to personal problem during the term of the scholarship, he/she will be allowed to retain the scholarship status for one year. After this period, it will be forfeited automatically.
  • Should the student withdraw from studies or expelled from school, the study grant will automatically be forfeited immediately.
  • All applications forms and supporting documents must be submitted within three weeks of the class start date.
  • Dasein Academy of Art reserves the right to involve study grant receipents in interviews, advertisement, photography or other publicity activities to promote the institution.
  • Each applicant must obtain consent from their parent or guardian.
  • Scholarship students may be asked to help with college activities such as office support, assisting lecturers with research or helping out at events and programmes as mentioned in terms and conditions.

奖项详情

Fee waiver details are as follows:

  • RM 2,000 waiver: Presidents/Vice President/Chairmain/Vice Chairman
  • RM 1,500 waiver: Secretary/Treasurer/Group Leader
  • RM 1,000 waiver: Committee Member (AJK)
  • The scholarship will take effect for 5 semesters, starting in Year 1 Semester 2.

DASEIN Academy of Art is a private art college located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The college's diploma programs are accredited with the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia.

‘Dasein’(‘da : za-in ), a connotation derived from German philosophy, has timelessly inspired creative thinkers to discover and redefine one’s true being and existence.

With that ideal in mind, DASEIN Academy of Art was established in 1996 by a team of avid educators and professionals from the creative industry. Aspired to revive the role of creative education from stereotyped qualifications back to the cultivation of individual distinction, an aspired team dedicated to personal enrichment was formed. Driven by this ingenuity, the college believes that creative education is more than just merely a skill or job-market-oriented curriculum. After all, it is through the path of creative thinking and aesthetic learning that one discovers the beauty of one’s existence; and that, is a fulfillment of a lifetime.

DASEIN Academy of Art takes pride in creative transformation via Edu-Mentoring® - essentially a people-centered approach when it comes to guiding and mentoring students on individual development and growth. Edu-Mentoring® is made up of three components. Edu-Clinic - where lecturers and students have one-to-one sessions to promote understanding and individual progress. Industry professionals are often invited to mentor and inspire our students via the Edu-Lab. Students are also exposed to social activities aimed at helping the underprivileged via Edu-Social programs.

DASEIN Academy of Art is a art college run by artists for future artists. All our lecturers are experts in their academic roles and experienced artists in the creative industry. We deliver specifically tailored courses to small groups of dedicated students, and we focus on unearthing each student's creative best and personal development in preparing them for a multifaceted career.
