Convertible education funding for Malaysian students
The Convertible Education Loan supports outstanding Malaysian students accepted into public or private higher education institutions recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, the Department of Private Education, and MQA. The loan aims to develop both academic and practical skills, contributing to the nation’s social and economic growth while nurturing future talent.

Applicant must meet the following requirements to be eligible:
- Malaysian citizen.
- Not less than 18 years old during application and accepting the study offer.
- Not exceeding 30 years old upon graduation.
- Qualified to a full time study mode only.
- Confirmation of admission from the public or private university.
- Applicants must provide two guarantors when accepting the PPBU YBR offer: one parent (mother or father) and another Malaysian citizen aged 60 or below at the time of application, who is employed and earns a minimum monthly income of RM1,000.
- Priority will be given to applications from members or children of members (shareholders) of Bank Rakyat.
- At the time of the offer, applicants are not allowed to receive a loan or sponsorship from any other agency for the same level of study (no double sponsorship).
- Applicant must meet the following academic requirements:
- Obtained 5As in SPM
