Full scholarship including tuition fees and other related study fees
The Sarawak Energy Scholarship is a programme by Sarawak Energy to support academically strong Sarawakian students who wish to pursue an undergraduate degree at approved local universities.
The goal is to develop talented youths from Sarawak — especially in fields relevant to energy, sustainability, engineering, technology, commerce — and to nurture a future workforce aligned with the state’s development needs.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Sarawakian with “K” status
- 24 years or below at the time of application
- Have obtained a minimum 2.50 CGPA in STPM, Matriculation, Foundation or Diploma; or a Minimum Grade C in all A-Level subjects
- Have secured an offer to pursue an undergraduate degree at a Malaysian institution of higher learning that is not covered under the Sarawak Free Tertiary Education Scheme, preferably one of Sarawak Energy preferred universities
- Not be receiving any other scholarship or financial aid
- Have no immediate family member who is currently a Sarawak Energy Scholarship recipient
- Shows strong potential, a willingness to learn and the motivation to pursue higher education through active involvement in leadership, teamwork or other activities.
- Students from lower-income households and communities neighbouring Sarawak Energy’s projects are encouraged to apply.
- Eligible Study Courses:
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- Information and Communication Technology (Software Engineering / Computer Science /Information Systems/ Digital Artificial Intelligence (AI))
- Accounting / Finance / Commerce
- Sustainability / Green Energy / Energy Transition
- Other Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)-related Fields
- Courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Clinical Psychology, Food Technology, Fine Arts, Aeronautics and other related studies are not covered under the scholarship

Recipients of this scholarship will get sponsorship for all tuition fees, including registration and examination fees.

- The application is from 10th August – 10th September 2026
- You may proceed to login and apply for the scholarship online when the application is open at https://apply.unienrol.com/form/sarawak-energy-scholarship-programme-2026
- You may use your latest STPM, A-Level, Foundation, Diploma or Matriculation results to apply and must attach a copy of your offer letter from the institution.
- Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an assessment and interview before the final selection.
