- Foundation/Diploma/STPM: CGPA 3.50

- Not eligible for any other scholarships, waivers, rewards & Open Distance Learning programmes
- Students are required to undergo the Scholars Development Programme
- Students of the IUMW High Achiever Scholarship must maintain a minimum CGPA yearly to obtain the scholarship for the following year and serve a minimum number of hours to the university:
- 100% Scholarship: Maintain CGPA 3.5 and 35 hours per year
- 75% Scholarship: Maintain CGPA 3.3 and 30 hours per year
- 50% Scholarship: Maintain CGPA 3.0 and 25 hours per year
- 20% & 30% Scholarship: CGPA 3.0 and 20 hours per year
- Foundation students do not need to meet the CGPA requirements
- Work hours should be served during their scholarship tenure while studying, which includes working with different departments within UM-Wales for enhanced exposure, acting as an Ambassador of UM-Wales at various events, attending leadership development programmes, etc., to continue their scholarship in subsequent year(s)
