Criteria

  1. Enrolled in KDU University College or KDU College, Selangor, paid full enrolment fee. 
  2. This scholarship is based on ACTUAL examination results only. Forecast or trial results will not be accepted. 
  3. Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: 
    • SPM - 9A+s & above
    • O Levels - 9A* & above 
    • A Levels - AAAB & above 
    • STPM - ≥ 3.60
    • UEC - Agg ≤ 10 (5 subjects)
    • SAM/AUSMAT - ≥ ATAR90
    • CPU - Agg ≥ 95%
    • IB  - ≥ 40
    • Foundation - CGPA ≥ 3.90
    • Diploma - CGPA ≥ 3.90

Highlights

  1. Successful recipients are required to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.50 (or equivalent) throughout their duration of study in order to maintain their scholarship 
  2. Existing KDU students who have accumulated a minimum CGPA of 3.75 in the latest semester second year of studies and/or onwards can apply for the Merit Award
  3. Only applicable to students in their second year of studies and/or onwards
  4. Applicant must be enrolled as a student of KDU University College or KDU College, Selangor and pay the full enrolment fee to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  5. All fees paid are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the scholarship awarded.
  6. The scholarship is only valid for the programme in which the recipient has enrolled in and for the original duration of study in KDU College or KDU University College, Selangor only. In the event the recipient changes programme or transfers to another KDU campus in Malaysia, the scholarship will be terminated.
  7. Recipients must repay the scholarship amount consumed up to date in the event of withdrawal from the programme.
  8. All scholarship recipients are required to undergo a Scholars Development Programme of 48 hours per semester during the duration of their scholarship, which includes working with different departments within KDU for enhanced exposures, acting as an Ambassador of KDU at various events, attending leadership development programmes etc, in order to continue their scholarship in subsequent year(s).

  1. Student can visit KDU Campus for direct application or apply online through KDU online application.
  2. Applicant must be enrolled as a student of KDU University College or KDU College, Selangor and pay the full enrolment fee to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  3. The deadline for scholarship application with submission of all relevant documents is 30th April and 30th August 2019.
  4. All shortlisted candidates are required to attend an interview.
