Criteria

  1. Malaysian UEC students.
     
  2. Sponsored Diploma in Nursing students are not eligible. 

  3. Applicants are not applicable for short courses and programmes which are less than one-year duration.

Highlights

  1. Applicants are eligible to only ONE (1) scholarship at any one time. Scholarship from KDU Penang or other institution / organization with the highest quantum will automatically apply.

  2. Scholarship is given to offset only tuition fee payable to KDU Penang. All other fees are to be paid in full.

  3. The first-semester tuition fee must be paid in full. The scholarship awarded will take effect from the second semester onwards.

  4. Successful recipient must maintain the minimum grades as stipulated in the scholarship, failing which the award will be revoked by the Scholarship Board.

  5. Recipient is not permitted to change the programme of studies and is required to maintain a high level of academic and co-curricular achievement.

  6. In the event that a student decides to discontinue his/her studies, the scholarship will be forfeited and the recipient is required to reimburse the University College of the awarded amount for all his/her period of studies in KDU Penang.

  7. Scholarship holder is required to contribute at least four hours per week by participating in the Scholar Assistance-ship of the University College.

  8. Scholarship awarded will be revoked should recipients breach the University College’s rules and regulations as mentioned in the institution’s regulations and Student Handbook.

  9. Where applicable, scholarship recipients will be required to sign an agreement accepting the terms and conditions of the award.

  10. Scholarship recipients who fail to comply with all the terms and conditions of the award will be required to reimburse the total amount of scholarship disbursed to him/her by the University College.

  1. Scholarship applicants are required to submit authenticated result slip to the Admission & Record Office.

  2. The closing date of scholarship application is usually 7 days from the commencement of programme. The Scholarship Board reserves the right to reject incomplete or late application.
