Criteria

  • Scholarships are awarded to students who score at least 3As in SPM / O Levels
  • Students who are enrolling in Foundation in Science leading to MBBS or Bachelor of Pharmacy are eligible to apply for the Foundation in Science Scholarship

Highlights

  • The recipients of scholarships (except the QIU Sports Scholarship) must maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 every semester. 
  • Scholarship recipients must act as Ambassadors of QIU at all times and uphold its good name. The recipient is required to assist or participate in the university activities or events whenever it is necessary (a minimum of 15 hours per semester)
  • All other costs/payments such as basic fees, hostel fees, and transportation must be paid by the student.
  • Applicants are required to enroll in any of the degree programmes at QIU upon completion of the foundation programme.

Application

  • Applicants are required to pay a sum of RM2,000 in deposit which shall be utilised as Basic Fees when the applicant registers for the degree programme. Any differences will be either paid by the recipient or refunded to the recipient depending on the amount required for utilization, if any.
