Criteria

Students must meet one of the following minimum requirements:

  • UEC: 5As
  • A-Levels/STPM: 2As
  • SAM/ATAR: 85%
  • CPU: 80%
  • Foundation: CGPA 3.43

Subject to the Scholarship Committee’s approval, to be eligible for Merit Award for continuing students to year 2/3, applicants must attain the following results:

  • Bsc Year 1 3As - RM5,000
  • Bsc Year 2 3As - RM2,000 or 4As - RM2,500

Highlights

  • Meeting the minimum criteria does not automatically guarantee the applicant a scholarship.
  • Students are only entitled to one scholarship at any one time. (Scholarships also cover prizes, study awards, bursaries and fee waivers.)
  • Applicants may be awarded a sum that is less than that stipulated in the brochure

Scholarship for new students courses at the Department of University of London International Programmes at HELP Academy

Application

  • Actual results must be submitted as soon as they are released
  • Complete a HELP Scholarship Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic results 
  • International students may apply in their first year on a case-by-case basis
  • New students who have not joined HELP Academy/University are required to pay a minimum of RM300 of the Student Application Fee to be eligible to apply for scholarship
  • Students who have applied to join HELP Academy/University for a chosen programme are expected to register during the intake date and is required to pay all administration fees, course fees and external fees (if any) by the last day of payment pending the decision of the Scholarship Committee
  • New students will submit the respective forms and attachments to the Scholarship Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
  • Application deadline is 2 weeks after commencement of programmes OR 2 weeks after the release of actual results.
  • The qualifications required for the scholarship may vary from year to year.
  • Applicants should check with the Scholarship Officer on the requirements before applying.
