Criteria

  • Students must meet minimum entry requirements of the desired programme
    • STPM: minimum CGPA 2.50
    • UEC: maximum 24 points (best 6 subjects)
    • A-Level: 9 points (A* = 6 pts, A = 5 pts, B = 4 pts, C = 3 pts, D = 2 pts, E = 1 pt)
    • SACE/WACE: ATAR 60
    • CPU: Avg. 60%
  • Applicant must fulfil the academic requirements set by the university to be eligible to apply for the scholarship
  • Scholarship is only applicable for the conventional mode of study (Full time or Part time)

Highlights

  • Successful recipients must: 
    • Maintain a CGPA of 2.5 per year (Scholarship amount 70% and below)
    • Maintain a CGPA of 3.0 per Year (Scholarship amount 80% and above)
  • Student must be registered as UNITAR’s Student Ambassador and will contribute 60 hours Per Year to assist UNITAR in their activities as notified by UNITAR
  • Student who entitled for UNITAR’s Tertiary Merit Scholarship fee waiver 80% & below is compulsory to apply for PTPTN. Should the student decided not to apply for PTPTN, they are required to sign the opt out of PTPTN form, indicating that they will be responsible to pay for their own tuition fees when due without PTPTN loan.
