Criteria

Students must meet one of the following minimum requirements:

  • A-Levels: 12 points
  • SAM/AUSMAT/CPU: 85% and above
  • UEC: 4As
  • Foundation/STPM/Diploma: CGPA 3.50

To be eligible for Merit Award (for continuing students to year 2/3), eligible applicants must fulfil the requirement of CGPA 3.75 and this is subject to the study awards committee approval.

  • Students are only entitled to one scholarship at any one time. (Scholarships also cover prizes, study awards, bursaries and fee waivers.)
  • Applicants may be awarded a sum that is less than that stipulated in the brochure

  • UEC : RM11,700 waiver on tuition fees
  • All Other Qualifications: RM 16,380 waiver on tuition fees

Scholarship for new students courses at the Department of University of Derby (3+0) Programmes at HELP Academy:

  • BA (Hons) Business Management
  • BA (Hons) Business Management (International Business)

Application

  • Actual results must be submitted as soon as they are released
  • Complete a HELP Study Awards Application Form and attach certified copies of your academic results 
  • International students may apply in their first year on a case-by-case basis
  • New students who have not joined HELP Academy/University are required to pay a minimum of RM1,800 of the Application and Administration Fee to be eligible to apply for scholarship
  • Students who have applied to join HELP Academy/University for a chosen programme are expected to register during the intake date and is required to pay all administration fees, course fees and external fees (if any) by the last day of payment pending the decision of the Scholarship Committee
  • New students will submit the respective forms and attachments to the Study Award Officer in the Registry before the specified deadline. Late applications will not be considered for selection.
  • Application deadline is 2 weeks after commencement of programmes OR 2 weeks after the release of actual results.
